The airport is mainly used for military purposes and is not open to the general public, with regular weekday C-130 transport plane flights chartered by the Republic of China Air Force. Uni Air offers flights from Kaohsiung once per week each Tuesday, however the service is only available for Coast Guard Administration staff.
